Sforza Castle

It can be reached by underground line 1 (Cairoli Castello stop) and line 2 (Cadorna F.N. stop).

The imposing castle, originally built by the Visconti and Sforza families, has been rebuilt several times. Inside the castle there are several museums, including the Egyptian Museum, the Museum of Ancient Art and the Museum of Prehistory. The castle museums are open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Admission costs £3, but on Friday afternoons after 2:00 p.m. it is free… an opportunity not to be missed! In summer, the beautiful park surrounding the castle hosts bars and discos.
